Wirtshaus Kalteneck

Like a sign in the entryway notes, our Wirtshaus was built in the year 1834 by husband and wife Bartholomaeus and Barbara Albrecht, and was run by them and their children until the turn of the century. The property was then purchased by Nikolaus Wagenstetter, who operated it alongside his wife Anna until the end of his life. Hans and Maria Wagenstetter were then the owners from 1940 until 1976, the year in which the farm and guest house were handed over to daughter Marianne Steinacker. The Wirtshaus was renewed in 1988, a small hall was integrated from the old rooms of the former farm, Whether it be celebrating, catering, or pleasant company, we hope that you feel welcome by us, and we always have an open ear for our guests!
