Flugplatz/Aerodrome Schaenis

Silently take off - The competence center for gliding passenger flights, training & education Schänis airfield is at the foot of the Alps. Glider pilots have been flying from here since 1965. The Alps offer an overwhelmingly beautiful experience of nature. Add to that the silence and the feeling of gliding, which makes gliding a special experience. The passenger pilots and flight instructors are licensed for their issue by the relevant international (ICAO) European (EASA) and national (BAZL) authorities and are checked annually for medical and aviation purposes.
