The Parc régional de Val-d'Irène is a regional park in Quebec dedicated to the development of a mountain which rises to 685 m. It is located in Sainte-Irène in the Valée-de-la-Matapedia. The main attraction of the park is its ski resort with 26 alpine ski and snowboard trails spread over two slopes (north and south) 1. Board sports enthusiasts also have access to an off-piste area, the white zone. There are also snowshoe and cross-country skiing trails as well as tube sliding. During the summer season you can practice mountain biking, whether cross-country or downhill, superb trails are maintained by local enthusiasts. Fall is the ideal season for hiking in Val-D'Irène. The color period begins around mid-September. At the top of the mountain, a belvedere allows you to admire a typical Matapédien landscape. Val-D'Irène is also a favorite stop for snowmobilers and mountain bikers (ATV)
