Bright Roofing

Reflecting on Bright Roofing's history, we were incorporated in 1956 and reside at the same location since. This fifty year old, fourth generation business has been led by T.J. Daniels, as it's principle since 1992. Our investment in customer commitment is as wide as our reputation is long. We pledge to observe the highest standards of Integrity, Frankness and Professional Responsibility in dealing with our Owner Clients. I invite you to discover for yourself the difference Bright Roofing can offer to your project. Then experience first hand our willingness to go beyond the "standard" customer service commitments and witness our ability to consistently exceed your expectations. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. Recently, TJ was a featured speaker at Roofing Contractor Magazine's "Best of Success" Conference held in Nashville, Tennessee. You can view a summary article from the November 2009 issue of Roofing Contractor below, or click here to see the Digital Edition of the magazine (the article is on page 46). T.J. Daniels, President, Bright Roofing & Restoration, and Linda Daniels, Past President of the Metropolitan Detroit Building Superintendents Association, are not only a dynamic married couple but they also know the dynamics of managing properties. The two teamed up to show how roofing contractors and property managers could work together to everyone's benefit. T.J. Daniels, who has worked for more than 30 years at Bright Roofing in Detroit, said his company's plan develops "customers for life" by way of a consistent and repetitive message. "My job is to dissect the process to find new property management business, " he said, noting that building and maintaining relationships is crucial. "There's no contractor who can afford to take advantage of property managers." The family business ownership was successfully passed along from Bill Daniels in 1992. Through expansion of their core competency, Bright Roofing and Restoration have developed a business model that features commercial and residential roof replacement. Meanwhile, Linda Daniels represents 25 years of commercial property management experience including new construction, management, leasing and marketing of malls, shopping centers and big box retail properties between Ohio, Indiana and Florida. Upon moving to Michigan in 1997, she managed and leased in excess of 2.3 million square feet of retail, commercial, medical, industrial and warehouse properties. Currently, she is CFO of the newly established Bright Green Roofs and Living Walls, LLC, the sole distributor of the ELT Green Roof and Living Wall Systems, developed out of Brantford, Ontario. "Property managers work for more than one boss, " Linda Daniels said. "I work for the owner, and I work for the tenants, too." Linda Daniels said when property managers project budgets for common area maintenance, and working closely with a roofing contractor can make the difference between an expensive roof replacement and a minor repair. She used the example of a shopping center with a large roof repair budget that she was able to slash by instituting an biannual maintenance program. "I became a hero to the owner and the tenant, " she said. She urged contractors to educate property managers on their roofing needs and touch base with them in September, noting that many budgets are set the following month. She told attendees, "You guys make us better at what we do by taking us under your wing and educating us." Tom Watts is the associate editor of Roofing Contractor. Cass Sheet Metal

Project Consulting, Design/Build, Installation, Custom Fabrication, Standing Seam Copper Domes & Shingles, Architectural Standing Seam Metal Roofing, Foam Wall & Stainless Steel Siding Panels, ZInc Siding, Slate & Tiles,Custom Bay Window & Prefab Canopies, Metal Fascias, Soffits & Mansards, Historic Building Roof Restoration and More!Custom Architectural Sheetmetal Specialists, Inc or C.A.S.S. as it is known by its clients, has been in the custom sheet metal design, fabrication and installation business in Detroit, MI for 20 years. Not only has the company helped to create some of the most beautiful landmarks in Southeast Michigan, but it has also built a reputation as one of the region's best contractors. In addition to providing architectural sheet metal services. CASS offers all facets of custom sheet metal roofing as well as other types of custom roofing applications, including copper, metal roofing, slate tiles, shakes and shingles.President and owner, Glenn Parvin, established CASS in 1990. He wanted to create a company that specialized in custom sheet metal work. It did not take long for its reputation for uncompromising quality to lead the company to very large and prestigious projects. In order to succeed in custom sheet metal fabrication, CASS decided it would be necessary to partner with some of the best metal roofing and metal siding system manufacturers, such as Berridge, Petersen Aluminum Corporation, BEMO USA and Centria. CASS got started with some of these primary metal roofing manufacturers because we needed structural standing seam panels backed by a manufacturer's water tightness warranty. These manufacturers' systems gave CASS the manufacturing control and support we needed. By partnering with such businesses, CASS has become one of the largest architectural sheet metal companies in the state of Michigan. With two portable standing-seam panel roll formers, one double lock standing-seam roll former, one double-lock batten system roll former, two computer bending machines, multiple shears, press breaks, hand breaks, and welding equipment, CASS operates a 10, 00-square-foot sheet metal fabrication shop capable of handling almost any custom fabrication sheet metal project.CASS grew out of an existing commercial roofing and sheet metal company. We had developed a reputation for our ability to handle metal roofing and sheet metal challenges in the local industry and CASS was created to capitalize on that reputation and develop a stand-alone specialty firm to market and promote metal roofing and other types of custom architectural sheet metal.. Thanks to strategic partnerships with quality companies like Berridge and Petersen Aluminum, and experienced, dedicated employees, CASS has never had to say we couldn't do a job!CASS employs 20 to 30 sheet metal journeymen from the Local 80 Sheet Metal Workers Union, which is no small accomplishment in today's construction market. The company also employs two estimators/project managers and two administrative employees. One testimony to its success is the fact that it was able to sustain manpower levels over the past two years, while many companies suffered layoffs.CASS is uniquely qualified to perform some of the most intricate and difficult work with an unmatched level of quality and precision. It's no coincidence that when there is a high profile project in Southeast Michigan requiring an architectural sheet metal contractor, CASS is the go-to contractor called to the project. "Our attention to detail, craftsmanship and unparalleled ability to provide whatever the project requires, has made CASS the benchmark for the architectural sheet metal business" says Parvin. "Instead of focusing on profits, pricing and bottom lines, we always try to make sure we do our work as well as it can be done". "Implementing a high level of quality craftsmanship into each project often produces repeat customers and plenty of business which should equate to profits at the end of the y
