Since 1939, Kolene Corporation has served America s metal producing and metalworking industries with innovative technologies for cleaning, descaling and improving the performance properties of metals and metal components. In 1939, a chemist, patent attorney and engineer combined their talents to create a new technology for metals cleaning and a company that was soon to be named Kolene. Soon after incorporation, the need to clean cast iron components in support of the company s main product line of dry cleaning fluids became critical, but no technology existed at the time that could do the job.
