Following a directive from the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, OES began winding up its operations, which was approved by the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority in August 2019. The OES Board of Directors resolved to wind up the organization voluntarily, appointing Deloitte Restructuring Inc. to oversee the liquidation process effective April 1, 2021.
