Amphora Architecture

The Winnipeg Architecture Foundation (WAF) is a nonprofit registered charitable organization focused on enhancing public understanding and appreciation of Winnipeg's built environment. Comprising architects, historians, and architecture enthusiasts, WAF emphasizes the modernist era from 1945 to 1975 while also exploring contemporary architecture, landscape architecture, and public art.

Since its inception in 1996, WAF has conducted extensive research on Winnipeg's architectural history, including inventorying buildings and conducting oral histories. The foundation regularly organizes tours, talks, virtual exhibits, and events, alongside curating the annual Architecture Design Film Festival and a bimonthly architecture film series.
