B&D Montessori Learning Academy is a Montessori Kindergarten, Preschool and Daycare established in year 2000. School is located in Coquitlam on the quiet street (Eagleridge Dr.) across from Eagle Ridge Park in a professionally designed and built facility for young children. Tiddlycove Montessori School is a Preschool & Kindergarten based on the Montessori educational philosophy, located at an idyllic seaside. Our program is based on the Montessori educational philosophy developed by Maria Montessori in the early 1900's. Children are encouraged to explore their passions & interests in a loving, patient & nurturing environment, while their caregivers support their development of a solid foundation in the core academic areas of language, math & culture. Children are introduced to these core academic areas with engaging & interactive multi-sensory materials that harness their natural developmental needs to see, hear, touch & move. The Tiddlycove program also incorporates other educational styles that directly complement the Montessori philosophy, such as the Orton-Gillingham technique used to teach young children the phonetic foundations of the alphabet.

KIDS ZONE, is a smoke free, multi-service childcare. Our staff are ECE trained and have over 20 yrs experience. All members have their CPR/First aid, are criminal record checked and attend annual ongoing training. Our mission is to create a classroom that allows a child to feel they belong. A class where they will own the room and take pride in their accomplishments, motivating them to learn. We use an interactive approach where children can learn within small groups. We feel this is the best way to provide developmentally appropriate curriculum. Throughout the day children work in small groups, in individual settings, and with the rest of the class in supervised activities. We feel your child will benefit from both structured and child initiated learning.
