Lake Babine Nation is the third largest Aboriginal Band in British Columbia, with its administrative office located 142 miles west of Prince George, BC. The Nation comprises a total registered membership of approximately 2,525 individuals as of January 2025 and manages 27 reserve lands across three main communities, with additional seasonal habitation in two other communities.

Established through the amalgamation of the Old Fort Band and Fort Babine Band in 1957, Lake Babine Nation formerly had around 12 year-round inhabited communities around Babine Lake. The Nation is rich in cultural heritage and committed to providing various programs and services to support its members.
