First built in 1946 by Charles Scott, the Scott Block has served as apartments and retail stores until it was refurbished and converted into Red Deer’s favourite black box theatre – with 2 theatres, studios and offices serving our creative community. The Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, central Alberta's flagship performing arts organization and only professional symphony orchestra, cultivates passion for arts and culture by engaging, educating, and inspiring audiences through live music.
