The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant in Chicago is one of several locations located throughout the United States and abroad. The company was inspired by the movie Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks. Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurants can be found in New Orleans, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Miami, Minneapolis, three locations in Hawaii, two in Japan and one in the Philippines. The restaurant also has other locations in Florida, California and South Carolina. Bubba Gump Shrimp features a menu that is shrimp-heavy, with popcorn shrimp, jumbo shrimp cocktail, Cajun shrimp, peel-and-eat shrimp, ping pong shrimp, coconut shrimp, shrimp pasta, shrimp with scallops and shrimp po boys.
