Rathaus Villach

Jeden ersten Samstag im August und die Woche davor veranstaltet die Villacher Bauerngman den Villacher Kirchtag, auf den dieses, von dem Bad Kleinkirchheimer Künstler Egon Gruber geschaffene, Trachtenpärchen hinweist.

With a height of 94 metres the Villach Parish Church Steeple is the highest church tower throughout Carinthia and it was already famous in the Middle Ages. To reach the Gallery around the former Tower keeper's flat you have to cope with 48 metres and 239 steps. But you will be rewarded with a stunning view of Villach and its surroundings. During the summermonths (July and August) the Steeple is open till 18:00! Free admission with Kärnten Card.
